Media accreditation and Liaison Unit

WORLD HUMANITARIAN SUMMIT - 23-24 May 2016, Istanbul, Turkey

The deadline for media accreditation requests was 13 May 2016.

 

Resources

All media will need to be escorted by Media Liaison staff in the ICC. Media do not need escort in the LKCC but access to side events will be determined by event organizers.

The Media Centre in the LKCC will provide a workspace, WiFi, CCTV to view various meeting rooms, key documents and media liaison staff.

The press briefing room is open to all accredited media. Stakeout areas will be set up for media outside some of the meeting rooms.

Photos from the Summit will be posted online (link to be provided). Please use captions and credits provided, do not use without attribution, and respect rights of use and re-use.

If you are interested in embedding a livestream of the UN Webcast of the Summit's proceedings, please contact damianou@un.org.  Webcast on-demand of statements will be available in English and original language at: http://webtv.un.org/ 

Arrangements will be made for Webcast of the principal press briefings; others will be archived and made available on demand.
