This project aims at buiding the human resources of the 'Niue Star', Niue's only newspaper, published in Niuean with an English translation. The project will address the lack of formal training and development for staff involved in the overall management of the business, in the production of news articles, in writing and reporting, and in layout, printing and production. It will offer training to 3 members of the Niue Star staff, in view of ensuring that a quality newspaper is produced twice a week.
