阿瓦什低谷

阿瓦什河谷包括非洲大陆最重要的古生物遗址群之一。在该遗址发现的远古人类化石至少可以追溯到400万年以前，为人类进化史提供了证据，改变了人们对人类历史的传统认识。最重要的考古发现是在1974年，当时出土的52块人类骨骼化石还原出了著名的露西(Lucy)。
