黄石国家公园

黄石国家公园中广袤的自然森林占地面积约9000平方公里，其中96%位于怀俄明州，3%位于蒙大拿州，还有1%位于爱达荷州。黄石国家公园拥有已知地球地热资源种类的一半，共有1万多处。国家公园还是世界上间歇泉最集中的地方，共有300多处间歇泉，约占地球总数的三分之二。黄石国家公园建于1872年，它也因为其生物多样性而闻名于世，其中包括灰熊、狼、野牛和麋鹿等。
