秦始皇陵及兵马俑坑

毫无疑问，如果不是1974年被发现，这座考古遗址中的成千上万件陶俑将依旧沉睡于地下。第一位统一中国的皇帝秦始皇，殁于公元前210年，葬于陵墓的中心，在他周围围绕着那些著名的陶俑。结构复杂的秦始皇陵是仿照其生前的都城——咸阳的格局而设计建造的。小陶佣形态各异，连同他们的战马、战车和武器，成为现实主义的完美杰作，同时也具有极高的历史价值。
