古京都遗址（京都、宇治和大津城）

古京都是仿效古代中国首都形式，于公元794年建立的。从建立起直到19世纪中叶古京都一直是日本的帝国首都。作为一千多年来日本的文化中心，古京都不仅见证了日本木结构建筑，特别是宗教建筑的发展，而且也向世人展示着日本花园艺术的变迁，现在日本的花园设计艺术已经对全世界的景观花园设计产生了重大影响。
