沙格镇

沙格镇坐落在一处高地上，俯瞰肥沃的平原。在罗马合并努米底亚之前，沙格镇是强盛的利西亚－迦太基人国家的首都。在罗马和拜占庭统治时期沙格繁盛起来，随后在伊斯兰统治时期逐步衰落。我们今天所能看到的该处遗址在一定程度上反映了处在帝国边缘上的罗马小镇的风貌。
