帕多瓦植物园

世界上第一个植物园于1545年建于帕多瓦。它至今仍保留着最初的建筑布局——一块圆形土地，象征着整个世界，四周被淙淙的水流环绕。此后这里又增添了一些其他设施，其中包括建筑设施（装饰过的大门和栅栏）和实用设施（汲水装置和暖房）。时至今日，它仍一如既往地继续着它的初衷，即把植物园作为科学研究的基地。
