格朗玛的德桑巴尔科国家公园内有上升的海底、至今仍在发展的喀斯特地形、地貌，展现了具有全球意义的地貌和地形特点以及正在进行的地质作用。这一地区位于古巴东南部的克鲁斯周围，既有壮观的梯田和悬崖，又有一些西大西洋海岸最原始、最壮观的悬崖。
