UN’s Top Climate Official Visits Liter of Light Project in Manila

Christiana Figueres, Executive Secretary of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) secretariat and the UN's top climate change official, visited the secretariat’s award-winning project Liter of Light in the Philippines today. During her visit, Ms. Figueres met volunteers of the open source network in Manila to raise awareness for climate action in the lead up to the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Paris in December (COP 21).
