v_charneau Registered: December 2004 Posts: 4,164	The freedom of the enslaved African, Susanne, who was owned by Tristram S. Smith on St. Croix, was purchased at the price of 350 rix-dollars. The change was made valid in law by being registered and entered in the register of security at the court in Christiansted.
