Partnerships

The UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning (UIL) has established a range of partnerships with various organizations to support the CONFINTEA follow-up process and collaborate in projects such as the Global Report on Adult Learning and Education (GRALE). These partnerships have been created in order to share knowledge and values, influence policy and practice, maximize impact and deliver better results in the countries we operate in.

UIL cooperates closely in the field of adult learning and adult education with:

  • DVV (the German Adult Education Association)
  • DVV International (the Institute for International Cooperation of the German Adult Education Association)
  • The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD)
  • The International Labour Organization (ILO)
  • The World Health Organization (WHO)
  • The Association for the Development of Education in Africa (ADEA)
  • The International Council for Adult Education (ICAE)
  • The Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (Seameo) Centre for Lifelong Learning

If your organization promotes adult learning and education and wishes to draw on our knowledge and experience, we would like to hear from you. For more information, please contact Mr Werner Mauch.
