2016 Tangerang Selatan Global Innovation Forum

The 2016 Tangerang Selatan Global Innovation Forum (GIF) aims to promote a culture of innovation, technopreneurship and the transfer of knowledge and technology, in the interests of global economic development. It is organized under the theme “Innovation for Sustainable Local Development” and will take place on 20-23 September 2016 in Tangerang Selatan City, Indonesia.
The Forum is a global opportunity to connect research professionals, policy-makers, players in the hi-tech productive sector and civil society with several activities: Conferences on Innovation, UNESCO-WTA Training Workshop, Hi-tech Exhibition, Business Matching, side events and WTA General Assembly (WTA University President Forum, WTA Executive Board Meeting, Mayor’s Forum).

With an innovative spirit, participants will share knowledge and experience and create a fertile ground interagency and international cooperation in innovation. From smart cities to creative economy and green business, the Forum will show how innovation can contribute to economic, environmental and social benefits and drive sustainable development for a better future.

The 2016 Global Innovation Forum is organized by the World Technopolis Assocation (WTA), UNESCO, Tangerang Selatan City and the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (RISTEKDIKTI) of Indonesia Republic.
