Airbus Innovation Week: March 10-14

The first-ever Airbus Innovation Week will take place March 10-14, 2014 at the University of São Paulo (UCP), São Paulo, Brazil.  This event is part of the prize awarded to the winning team of Airbus Fly Your Ideas, a biennial global challenge for university students, run by Airbus with UNESCO patronage. 

The week, organized by Airbus, the world’s leading aircraft manufacturer, with support from the UNESCO Engineering Initiative, will feature inspiring workshops and seminars all about innovation. This event, hosted by the Polytechnic School and Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism, will offer students, faculty and researchers at UCP the opportunity to discover the tools and techniques that bring innovative ideas to life within global industry.  Innovation week activities include expert talks, a presentation of the UNESCO Engineering Initiative and a UNESCO workshop on engineering innovation for sustainability.

Join the Global Airbus Innovation Webinar on Tuesday 11 March at 18.00 CET

Most activities will be held on the UCP campus, but students and faculty around the world are welcome to attend the Global Airbus Innovation Webinar on Tuesday 11 March at 18.00 – 20.00 CET.  This global webinar will feature an exciting discussion of the vast array of unique innovations used to build aircraft today and insights from Airbus innovators on creating sustainable aviation for the future.
