UNESCO ‘Youth Mobile’ Training (22- 26 August 2016)

The University of Balamand and the regional office of UNESCO in Beirut are organizing a training workshop for the Lebanese and Syrian youth, who are interested in learning how to create mobile applications. The 5-day workshop will cover the various aspects of creating mobile applications and will give these young people the chance to discover new technical skills as well as spend a good time with other men and women from the same age group.

The operating system Android will be used, as it is the most popular and most widely used software for mobile programming.

The training within this workshop is a combination of lectures and practical applications. The training language is Arabic, while the technical words will be given in Arabic as well as English.

This training is open for young females and males between the age of 15 and 30.

The deadline for registration is 14th of August.

Places are limited.

The workshop will take place between 22 and 26 of August 2016.

Location of the training: University of Balamand – Koura.

If needed, transportation can be provided from the main highway to the campus. Dorms are also available.
