The UNESCO Regional Bureau for Education in the Arab States, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MEHE), is implementing a new initiative titled ‘Enhancing Access to Secondary Education and Quality Results for Learning Gaps for the Youth (EASE)’, which seeks to address unmet needs in the overall educational response to the Syrian crisis, by focusing on provision of secondary education for Syrian refugee youth and Lebanese youth in host communities, as well as on capacity enhancement of MEHE and school communities.

In this connection, the EASE project is launching an invitation for bid for the procurement of: 

-1- Desktops and laptops

-2- Printers, photocopiers, and projectors

Internship at UNESCO Beirut Office 

Students from a wide range of disciplines are invited to apply for individual internships of three to six months at the UNESCO Beirut Office. Depending on the qualifications of the candidates, the internships relate either to UNESCO’s programme activities, or to administrative or technical functions.

Applicants must be undertaking studies in areas related to UNESCO’s fields of competence (namely, education, culture, sciences, communication and social sciences) or in other areas which support UNESCO’s work (such as law, human resource management, management studies, international relations, etc.)
