art-science-and-technology.jpg The goal of the website is to function as an ongoing information resource to be used by scholars and researchers interested in the collaborations between digital artists and scientists. Particular attention has been be paid to the basic historical, cultural, and scientific contexts of such collaborations. A special effort has been made made in order to research and acknowledge artists, scientists who collaborate with artists, and their creations from regions which are not well known or accessible to the general public.Particular attention is also be paid to creating mechanisms that allow the material in the site to be browsed, thereby making the site accessible to students and members of the general public who have no prior experience in accessing the World Wide Web.
