Seychelles

The Seychelles joined UNESCO on October 18, 1976. The country is covered by the UNESCO Office in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

Seychelles has obtained good results in the field of Education for All. Following the visit of the Director-General to the Seychelles, in February 2004, a capacity-building programme in distance learning, financed through a Japanese funds-in-trust, is being implemented.
