The study offers an interesting range of examples from Ghana, Haiti, India, Kyrgyzstan, Mexico, Mozambique, Nigeria, Somalia, South Africa, Vietnam, and Zambia that best exemplify innovative approaches and strategies adopted by youth in using the media for social and personal development. Intellectual property rights

Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) are set of rights associated with creations of the human mind. This module has three units covering the basics of IPR, the components of copyright and the conventions associated with it, as well as the emergence of liberal licensing to share human creation in the commons. The Creative Commons approach permits the authors to exercise their rights to share in the way they intend to. Creative Commons provides six different types of licenses, of which the Creative Commons Attribution license is the most widely used in research journals.

Interim assessment of media development in South Sudan

Internationalised Domain Names: State of play

Internationalised Domain Names (IDNs) have become strongly linked with Internet governance discussions on multilingualism. Of approximately 6 000 languages in the world, only 12 languages accounted for 98% of Internet web pages in 2008. English is the dominant language online. In collaboration with UNESCO, EURid (the .eu registry) presents this study on Internationalised Domain names (IDNs), which explains what an IDN is, gives a brief history and timeline of significant milestones and touches on the policy debate surrounding multilingualism on the Internet.
