International Women’s Day

"Africain(e)s d'ici et là-bas uni(e)s pour vaincre le side" - Saturday 20 November 2004
Saturday 20 November 2004, UNESCO Headquarters

This day aims to draw public attention to the resilience of the African communities facing HIV/AIDS. Building on the enthusiasm galvanized on the occasion of International Women’s Day 2004, we will be debating policy issues related to ‘mobility, HIV/AIDS and women’, as well as orphans, sharing good prevention care and support practices and last, but not least, celebrating community resilience.
