A DAY OF FILMS IN CELEBRATION OF WOMEN PEACEMAKERS
Film Screening, March 2 2007, 10:00am to 5:00pm - Fontenoy Cinema
 
peacefilms.bmp With the goal of raising interest around the theme of “Women Peacemakers,” this Day of Films aims to highlight the positive and often overlooked role of women in peacemaking processes around the world. It will feature a diversity of award winning and internationally renowned films that look at the work of women peacemakers in over twenty countries, covering every continent of the globe. Special guest Gabriela Neuhaus, director of 1000 Women and a Dream, will be present after it’s screening to discuss the film and answer audience questions.

- 1000 Women and a Dream (13:30);
- Peace by Peace: Women on the frontlines (15:15);
