Report of the Director-General on the execution of the programme adopted by the General Conference

The Director-General's report is intended to inform the Members of the Executive Board of progress achieved in the execution of the programme adopted by the General Conference (document C/5). Main developments with regard to programme delivery, in particular results achieved under the five major programmes and the UNESCO Institute for Statistics, are contained in document 189EX/4.

The Director-General report on programme execution is complemented yearly by an addendum presenting salient developments in field offices’ participation in United Nations common country programming processes and the main results achieved with regard to UNESCO’s insertion in these processes.
