UNESCO Database of National Cultural Heritage Laws

The UNESCO Database of National Cultural Heritage Laws was launched in 2005 and contains more than 2600 laws of 188 Member States.

This Database is available online, is free of charge and user-friendly. More generally, the Database can play an important role in fighting the illicit traffic in cultural property and highlights the importance of the Campaign #Unite4Heritage launched by the Director-General last March in Baghdad.

In view of the celebration of the 10th anniversary of this Database, a side-event is organized in the framework of the Culture Commission.

The presentation, to be followed by a Question/Answer session, given by Mechtild Rossler, Edouard Planche and Sahar Al Tabbal-Raschidy.
