Climate change and heritage among the issues discussed at COP 15

The potential impact of climate change can compromise the integrity of the 890 World Heritage Sites which are acknowledged cultural and natural treasures of our planet.
It is mainly with a view to managing this change that the heads of 192 States parties to the United Nations Framework Convention for Climate Change are meeting in Copenhagen (from 7 to 18 December). Heritage Conservation is among the topics of the collective reflection being conducted on this occasion.
