Just Published: Virtual conference report on measuring the return on investment in TVET

The virtual conference report on “Measuring the return on investment in TVET” is now online. The virtual conference took place from 9 to 16 May 2016 on the UNEVOC TVeT Forum and was moderated by Phil Loveder and John Stanwick from the National Centre for Vocational Education Research in Australia.


World Youth Skills Day 2016 in Bonn!

Over 140 TVET stakeholders from over 35 counties met in Bonn, Germany, to discuss the role of youth skills development in transitions to sustainable economies and societies. In line with UNESCO’s new Strategy for TVET (2016-21), the meeting provided an opportunity for the global TVET community to gather and explore areas for future collaboration.


Virtual conference on Youth Entrepreneurship

In the ongoing edition of UNESCO-UNEVOC’s virtual conferences, we are discussing youth entrepreneurship in technical and vocational education and training (TVET). The conference is taking place from 18 to 29 July 2016 on the UNESCO-UNEVOC TVeT Forum.


SRTTU Tehran conducts training programmes

The SRTTU Tehran, a member of the UNEVOC Network since 2006, conducted two technical teacher training programmes that aimed at building the capacities of teachers who are already engaged in these vocational and technical fields, and equip them with the skills necessary to promote and enhance their teaching techniques.


International Leadership Program “Master Trainer in TVET” visits UNEVOC with delegation from South Caucasus

Seventeen TVET stakeholders from Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia visited UNESCO-UNEVOC to learn more about the International Centre’s activities, with a particular emphasis on the UNEVOC Network and the online services.
