Documentation CentreThe Documentation Centre of the Commission mainly holds UNESCO publications (information is in paperback form, pamphlets and periodicals, archive files, loose sheets and hardcover publications). The Centre welcomes researchers and the public at large.
Structure of the CommissionThe National Commission consists of the following bodies:
- The General Assembly (15 members), which meets four times a year;
- The Executive Committee (6 members), which meets at least six times a year;
- (to check:) 5 Sub-Committees dealing with: (1) Education; (2) Science; (3) Culture; (4) Communication; (5) Relations with other organizations;
- The Secretariat.

Executive CommitteeThe Executive Committee has 6 members who hold meetings whenever necessary (more than 6 meetings are held per annum).
General AssemblyThe General Assembly has 15 members who meet 4 time a year.
Committees or Sub-CommitteesThere are sub-committees for Education, Science, Culture and Communication, and Other Organizations (HRD, APEC). The membership consists of the sectors that come under or who have vested interest in the various committees. For example, in the communication sub-committee are representatives of radio, TV, telecommunications, newspapers, etc.
Interaction with UNESCO and National Commissions
OverviewThe National Commission collaborates with its counterparts from the Asia and the Pacific Region (in particular: Australia, Fiji, New Zealand, Niue, Samoa, Tonga). It also cooperates with the Apia UNESCO Field Office.
