Funds in trust co-operation for Global Alliance for Cultural Diversity

The government of Spain has been providing substantial funding for UNESCO’s Global Alliance for Cultural Diversity

Global Alliance for Cultural Diversity
UNESCO's Global Alliance for Cultural Diversity explores new ways to turn creativity in developing countries into sustainable cultural industries. It aims to promote cultural diversity, support economic development and encourage job creation in a range of fields including music, publishing, cinema, crafts and the performing arts.

Spanish Agency for International Co-operation (AECI)
Recognising cultural diversity as a fundamental vehicle for socio-economic development, the Spanish government has elaborated a Co-operation Master Plan (2005-2008) which focuses on key issues such as the need to strengthen and promote cultural industries.
