Engineering
The UNESCO's Engineering sciences programme addresses the development of human and institutional capacities, technological innovation foresight, the development of a culture of maintenance, research and knowledge management in engineering, and applications of engineering and technology geared to the pursuit of the MDGs, especially poverty eradication and sustainable development. These activities will be conducted in continued close and strategic partnerships with the World Federation of Engineering Organizations and the International Council of Academies of Engineering and Technological Sciences.
