Youth Forum(s)
The UNESCO Youth Forum, held prior to UNESCO's General Conference, brings together young delegates from all over the world to exchange views, share experiences, reflect together and, above all, detect common preoccupations and problems.
  • 6th UNESCO Youth Forum in 2009

    The 6th UNESCO Youth Forum took place at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris from 1 to 3 October 2009 as an integral part of the 35th UNESCO General Conference.

    The Youth Forum allows young people to voice their ideas and concerns and make suggestions directly to the UNESCO General Conference.


  • UNESCO Youth Forums in 2007 and 2005


  • UNESCO Regional Youth Forums in 2006 and 2007

    Following the relevant recommendations of the 2005 UNESCO Youth Forum, UNESCO organized a series of UNESCO regional youth forums prior to the 2007 UNESCO Youth Forum: the UNESCO Euro-Mediterranean Youth Forum, the UNESCO African Youth Forum, the UNESCO Asian Youth Forum and the UNESCO Americas Youth Forum. UNESCO also contributed to the 1st Pacific Youth Festival.
