The book "Migration without Borders" receives the 2009 Silver Book Award from the Association of Borderland Studies (ABS)
Migration without Borders. Essays on the Free Movement of People received the 2009 Silver Book Award from the Association of Borderland Studies (ABS), an American learned society which promotes border studies.

The book The jury remarked that it was a stimulating book that invited people to rethink the premises of contemporary migration politics.

The book, which stemmed from a UNESCO programme about the implications of opening borders, was published in English in 2007 and in Spanish, French and Russian in 2009. The Chinese version will be available soon.
