Asia-Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development (AIBD) in collaboration with the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) organised a 5-day regional workshop on Engineering Fundamentals for Broadcasters in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 03 to 07 December 2018.

AIBD TV & Radio Awards 2018

AIBD is pleased to announce the final winners for the AIBD TV and Radio Awards 2018. The judging session occurred on 16 July 2018 at the AIBD office in Kuala Lumpur. The winners were awarded at the 44th Annual Gathering / 17th AIBD General Conference & Associated Meetings to be held from 2 to 4 August 2018 in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

 

AMS Excursion 2019

The official hosts for the Asia Media Summit 2019, the Ministry of Information of the Kingdom of Cambodia, will be organising an excursion trip on Friday, 14 June 2019 to Angkor Wat Temple, open for all delegates attending the conference.

Bhutan gearing up to host GC, 2019

The AIBD General Conference and its associated meetings will be held in Bhutan from 22-24 August, 2019. The President of the General Conference has agreed to the above dates.

The interim director, Mrs. Philomena and the programme manager, Jigme Thinley, made a site visit to Bhutan from 26th to 31st January, 2019. During the visit the two officials from AIBD discussed with the officials of the host organisation, Bhutan Broadcasting Service Corporation (BBS).
