Objectives
The main objectives of the Cooperation Programme are to build capacity in each of the countries in order to empower them to take forward media and information literacy and intercultural dialogue, particularly to promote freedom of expression, freedom of information and the free flow of ideas and knowledge.
Its development objective is to support and highlight projects that promote understanding and reconciliation among cultures globally, including academic exchanges and cross-border collaborations between citizens and institutions, and ultimately to contribute to the achievement of the UN Millennium Development Goals.
