Centre de documentation | The Documentation Centre, which is administered by a partime professional librarian/documentalist and is in the process of being computerized, holds 2500 UNESCO publications. The Centre mainly welcomes researchers. |
Structure de la Commission | The Commission consists of the following bodies:
- The General Assembly,
- Executive Committee
- Six Advisory Committees & 5 Adhoc Committees,
- The Secretariat. |
Membres/Composition | The Membership of the Commission, which comprises 16 persons, is composed of Parliamentarians, Ministers, Academics, Representatives of National Organizations and the Media and the Secretary General. |
Comité exécutif | Comprises of : Mrs. Faith Innerarity, Senator Warren Newby, Dr. Maria Smith, Mrs. Andrea Shepherd-Stewart, Mrs. Merline Bardowell, Mr. Hugh Nash and Secretary General, Mr. Everton Hannam |
Assemblée générale | The Commission has a 16 member National Commission that meets in plenary session every two months |
Comités ou sous-comités | The Commission has 6 Advisory and 5 Adhoc Committees which meet every two months. The Committees are for: Education, Science and Technology, Social and Human Sciences, Culture, Communication, Information for All, Youth, Memory of thje World, Man & the Biosphere, and UNESCO Clubs and the Associated Schools Project.
The National Commission manages the UNESCO Clubs of the country through a National Co-ordination affiliated to the WFUCA.
