LégislationThe Commission has a Constitution, which dates back to 1965.
Centre de documentationThe Documentation Centre, which is administered by a partime professional librarian/documentalist and is in the process of being computerized, holds 2500 UNESCO publications. The Centre mainly welcomes researchers.
Structure de la CommissionThe Commission consists of the following bodies:
- The General Assembly,
- Executive Committee
- Six Advisory Committees & 5 Adhoc Committees,
- The Secretariat.
Membres/CompositionThe Membership of the Commission, which comprises 16 persons, is composed of Parliamentarians, Ministers, Academics, Representatives of National Organizations and the Media and the Secretary General.

Assemblée généraleThe Commission has a 16 member National Commission that meets in plenary session every two months
Comités ou sous-comitésThe Commission has 6 Advisory and 5 Adhoc Committees which meet every two months. The Committees are for: Education, Science and Technology, Social and Human Sciences, Culture, Communication, Information for All, Youth, Memory of thje World, Man & the Biosphere, and UNESCO Clubs and the Associated Schools Project.

The National Commission manages the UNESCO Clubs of the country through a National Co-ordination affiliated to the WFUCA.

Vue d'ensembleThe National Commission co-operates with the National Commissions in the Caribbean Cluster and maintains relationships with other Commissions in Latin America and other geographical regions. Curently JNC-UNESCO is spearheading efforts to have the English-speaking Caribbean countries nominate and establish Biosphere Reserves sites
