  • Call for nominations: 2016 UNESCO International Literacy Prizes

    It’s official! UNESCO is launching the call for nominations for the UNESCO International Literacy Prizes for 2016. Every year, the prizes are organized around a specific theme. This year’s focus is on: “Innovation in Literacy”.

    Governments of Member States and Non-governmental Organizations in official partnership with UNESCO are invited to submit their nominations. The Prizes consist of the UNESCO King Sejong Literacy Prize and the UNESCO Confucius Prize for Literacy, generously supported by the Republic of Korea and the People’s Republic of China respectively.

    DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS: 4 July 2016
