  • Award Ceremony of the 2015 UNESCO-Japan Prize on Education for Sustainable Development (6 pm- 6.30pm GMT+1) 

Within the framework of the Global Action Programme (GAP) on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD), the UNESCO-Japan Prize on ESD honours outstanding efforts of individuals, institutions, organizations or other entities engaged in ESD activities. Funded by the Government of Japan, the Prize consists of three annual awards of US $50,000 for each recipient. The Prize is awarded for the first time in 2015.
