UNESCO’s action to provide critical knowledge and analytical tools, empowering media consumers to function as autonomous and rational citizens, and enabling them to critically make use of the media.

Children's Media Literacy Project - "Look and listen"
The Broadcasting Commission of Jamaica, in conjunction with UNESCO, launched a media literacy project targeting children in primary schools in the country, on 29 January 2007.
