Sound synthesis (mac)
We often speak of a virtual synthesizer to distinguish a software program manufacturing sounds from a material synthesizer. The latter can have a keyboard, not have a keyboard (an expander), or be housed in an electronic chip on the sound card. A synthesis program actually makes the sound in digital form and then sends it to another program or converts it to computer output through the sound card. MIDI commands can be used.

19 Dec 2003 - This software enables you to synthesise (generate) sound clouds with the help of a granular synthesiser. It does not work in real time, so the compilation of sound may take several minutes depending on the settings.

15 Nov 2003 - This software is used to generate modulated sounds (frequency modulation) from external sound files and/or sinusoidal sounds. The synthesis or processing modules come in twos in order to create rich sound textures. Moreover, various settings are generated automatically in a random way.
