New media/multimedia design, broadcast design, photography and video

Department of Visual Communication Design of the Istanbul Bilgi University aims to prepare talented students for careers in new media/multimedia design, graphic design, broadcast design, photography and video. The department emphasizes learning through individual attention in a positive environment and offers students and faculty many outlets to exhibit their work within and outside the university. In this context there are leading a series of activities; such as the design annual Agito intending to bring together designers by creating an international creative platform and an independent arena for professionals, independent designers and design students where they can present and publish their experimental works and build a community where knowledge is shared. Agito project will include three main categories: Print media (photography, graphic design, illustration, etc), New media (interactive design, web design, cd-rom,etc), Time Based Media (video art, motion graphics, animation,etc).
