Regional celebration of the International Day to End Impunity for Crimes against Journalists
Journalists’ safety is a particular concern in Vietnam and in the Mekong countries more broadly. To mark the International Day to End Impunity for Crimes against Journalists, UNESCO Bangkok is partnering with the Center for Research on Development Communication (RED), a member organization of the Southeast Asian Press Alliance (SEAPA), to raise awareness on journalists’ rights and the importance to guarantee their safety towards the media sector, law enforcement officers and the general public.
