Leonardo Music Journal began publication in 1991 as a companion to Leonardo, documenting the ideas of composers, musicians, sound artists and instrument builders. It is a yearly multimedia publication (print and audio CD) of the International Society for the Arts, Sciences and Technology and the MIT Press.

 

It publishes the work of artists who are inventing media, implementing developing technologies and expanding the boundaries of radical and experimental aesthetics.LMJ is edited by Leonardo/the International Society for the Arts, Sciences and Technology, and published by the MIT Press. Subscriptions and individual issues can be ordered from the MIT Press.
