A wide array of activities enabled professionals from the design community and the general public to discuss and debate the development of Place d’Armes project.
The interdisciplinary teams of designers are made up of urban development professionals (architecture, design, urban design, landscape architecture, urban planning), and at least one designer working in communications or the arts (a visual or video artist, a photographer).
Every team also included a designer from Berlin and a designer from Buenos Aires, except for team 3, which had two designers Buenos Aires. In addition, one young Montréal professional in development or design, selected by Design Montréal, joined each team as a trainee.
