    • Su Excelencia el Sheik Ghassan I. Shaker
    Su Excelencia el Sheik Ghassan I, diplomático y hombre de negocios saudita es una de las personalidades más condecoradas del mundo árabe. Muy respetado en los ámbitos políticos y económicos del mundo entero, el Sheik Ghassan I Shaker estudió en el Victoria College y en la universidad de Cambridge. Desde su nombramiento como Embajador de Buena Voluntad de la UNESCO, en 1989, este filántropo financió varios proyectos de educación para mujeres, niños y refugiados en situación precaria.

    Con su ayuda, la UNESCO pudo reconstruir y brindar material a escuelas destruidas y aportar su ayuda a las mujeres y niños cuyas vidas habían sido destrozadas por la guerra. Inagotable recaudador de fondos en beneficio de los necesitados, Su Excelencia el Sheik Ghassan I Shaker aporta asimismo su generoso apoyo a proyectos de ayuda humanitaria.
