Joint Malagasy Government – United Nations System Programme for the Promotion of Basic Education for All Malagasy Children

    22-06-2006 - The updated April 2006 version (in French only) of the Programme features a summary of the results and lessons learned on completion of Phase One (2001 – 2005).

    The Programme is now in its second phase (2006-2009). It aims to satisfy the basic education needs of Malagasy children of all origins and social categories. The ultimate purpose is to contribute to national efforts to ensure sustainable human development in the country.

    The Programme is now open to contributions by new partners in financing and expertise.
