	12/10/2006 - Six specially-commissioned articles on early childhood care and education are the centre-piece of the October issue of the UNESCO Courier

	Drawing on examples from many different parts of the world, the October issue of UNESCO�s monthly online magazine, the UNESCO Courier, takes readers to visit daycare centres and parenting support projects in countries ranging from Colombia to Papua New Guinea. Each story illustrates a successful approach to providing pre-school care for young children that includes nutrition, health, stimulation and a nurturing environment.
