Global Ethics Observatory (GEObs): Database 2 (Ethics Institutions)
Information for this database is collected using a standardised questionnaire. Submitted questionnaires are then validated against the following to confirm their active involvement in the field of ethics of science and technology:
  • Mission
  • Activities
  • Publications

Submissions that do not meet the above criteria are included in the Division’s mailing list to receive announcements of new publications or upcoming activities.

Data collection for this database is a continuous process and ethics institutions are invited to submit their data for consideration. An electronic copy of the questionnaire can be obtained by sending an email request to geobs@unesco.org.

Respondents are reminded that they should provide the data of a specific entity (committee, center, commission, review board, unit, department, etc.) working on ethics within the wider organization, if the organization is not focused purely on ethics.
