Discussion Paper of the Round Table of Ministers of Science on "Bioethics: International Implications"
The purpose of this document is to raise a series of questions and to point to a number of avenues of reflection that could serve to fuel discussions. It is structured around four complementary issues: 1. basic concepts and principles of bioethics; 2. current issues in bioethics; 3. institutional and regulatory norms and systems: the rationale for a universal text on bioethics; and 4. consciousness-raising, information, education and public debate.
