It is the story told by a nine-year-old South-African boy, whose mother is HIV positive, of how it is to grow up in a community ravaged by the AIDS epidemic, in the peri-urban area of KwaZulu-Natal.

22-11-2004 (International Social Science Journal) - On the occasion of the World Social Forum to be held in Porto Alegre, Brazil, in January 2005, UNESCO is offering two scholarships to enable African scholars to attend the Forum by contributing to a seminar on “Encounters in Open Space.
