Tolerance leads to peace
Being tolerant, understanding and helping each other... to build a peaceful future!
tolerancepeace.jpgWhy does the world still have wars? Why do so many human beings have to suffer and die? Why are there so many orphans? Because hate, misunderstanding, fear and jealousy drive some people to attack, destroy others and take what they have. What's more, they are convinced they are right!
But after a war, the loser feels humiliated and often wants revenge. If, instead of fighting in the first place, there is discussion and negociation... there are no losers: everyone wins! Being tolerant means resisting peacefully when threatened with violence. It means being strong to protect the weak.

Tolerance is respect for all who live on earth now and in future generations. It means supporting one another. It's working together to fight violence, poverty and intolerance.
