In honor of the 100th Anniversary of International Women’s Day and celebrations ongoing throughout the month, the eighth issue of UNESCO’s HIV and AIDS electronic newsletter has just been published online with a focus on Gender and HIV & AIDS.

This edition highlights some of UNESCO’s recent events and initiatives promoting gender equality and addressing the acute challenges that women and girls face as a result of the AIDS epidemic.

The eNewsletter is a periodical publication that highlights key activities - across UNESCO’s sectors and around the world - that comprise a comprehensive response to HIV.
