Film distribution company

Definition

A commercial establishment that is engaged in the selling, renting, lending or exchanging of feature films to cinemas. They can also be responsible for the marketing and promotion of feature films, the collection of revenues and their distribution. Only companies which distributed feature films in theatrical release and which were active (that had at least one theatrical feature in distribution during the reference year are considered).
